A word from the Partnership Director
As the year draws to a close, we are entering the final stretch of our partnership journey. The Winnipeg Convention, which will take place at the University of Manitoba on May 28, 29, and 30, 2026, will be the last opportunity to come together - in person - to advance the various initiatives to raise the bar on quality in Canada. This convention, according to a schedule that you will find in the diagram on the first news post at the bottom of the Living Atlas page, will summarize the action plans and allow us to structure the 16 guides and six collective books that we intend to offer - in open access - to summarize our inventories and proposals.
In this newsletter, you will find links to the six pages that bring together the wonderful three-minute videos that were presented by the 16 groups at the November 2025 online convention (time being sometimes elastic, some seem to last up to seven minutes). We have not included the discussions so as not to complicate the reading, but we have added the PDF presentations for each thematic cluster. This is a considerable amount of material, meant to stimulate a larger audience, and we invite you to share it on your networks while continuing to encourage your partners and students to share their experiences of quality on ArchiQualiData.ca.
In closing, let us remind you that our two digital showcases complement each other: while the Living Atlas of Quality remains the showcase for the partnership, ArchiQualiData is becoming the major digital resource. This database covers all topics, with more to come. It brings together analyses, real-life experiences, and best practices. All teams will be asked to submit their analyses, reports, case studies, and publications starting in January 2026, in accordance with our collective commitment and SSHRC's open access policy.
We wish you a very happy holiday season and extend our best wishes for the year ahead.
