Cambridge Kiwanis Village Housing

2024

“I particularly remember visiting Cambridge Kiwanis Village (Non Profit Housing) 1195 King St E, Cambridge Ontario, which is for independent living candidates.  Many are seniors, or persons living with a disability.  There is a great mix of accessible, and partially accessible units.  This means that for any type of disability there are units that can accommodate the needs. This type of housing is not often found in Cambridge, and as a result there is always a long waiting list for persons wanting to live in this building.” (Booklet Positive Lived Experiences of Quality in the Built Environment 2024, p.12)
