Announcing the Winners of the Student Video Competition!

Over the past few months, students from across Canada involved in the Partnership have been working on creating explanatory videos showcasing their research sites. As part of this competition, we have received 13 excellent videos that you can watch here: https://vimeo.com/user/124225061/folder/24802626

As part of the preparatory work for the Toronto Convention 2025, each research site was required to create a short video that highlights and describes their work and overall progress from initial questions to proposed “national actions”. Videos have to be a maximum of 5 to 6 minutes, ideally divided into three balanced sections.

  1. Problems or barriers to quality addressed by the research site
  2. Partnering approaches and main element of the updated roadmap to quality
  3. Proposed strategies for change and or proposed actions for quality

An independant jury reviewed all the video submission and chose their top three. Students having worked on these videos will receive a cash prize.

The winners were:

1st Position: Research site led by the University of Calgary

2nd Position: Research site led by McGill University

3rd Position: Research site led by the University of Manitoba
