Meet our Partners: CRE Montréal

Every week we will share a short video presentation made by our partners in which they introduce their organisation and why they decided to join this Partnership. This presentation was recorded during the 1st Online Convention of the Partnership which took place on December 1st and 2nd 2022.
This week CRE Montréal. CRE Montreal is an independent charitable organization committed to protecting the environment and helping to accelerate the socio-ecological transition on the island of Montreal, and more broadly throughout the Montreal Metropolitan Community (MMC). CRE Montreal relies on the expertise of its team, its many members and partners to develop and implement strategies and means to advance environmental issues such as: sustainable development and mobility; adaptation to climate change; protection of natural environments; nature-based solutions; and waste management.
As a regional environmental forum, CRE Montreal is at the heart of many networking and knowledge-sharing activities and participates in numerous committees and working groups. CRE Montréal regularly collaborates with citizens, neighbourhood and local environmental committees, institutional actors, researchers and professionals from various disciplines, municipal actors, private promoters and major players in economic development. CRE Montreal is also part of the Regroupement national des conseils régionaux de l'environnement du Québec (RNCREQ) which brings together the 15 CREs active in Quebec.
