The cluster INCLUSIVE DESIGN FOR HEALTH, WELLNESS, AGING & SPECIAL NEEDS regroups situated project coordinated by:

  • Concordia University
  • Université de Montréal
  • The University of Calgary

The main research questions include:

What are the blockages and design avenues of inclusive spaces for Montreal’s aging population?

  • How should SDGs compliant retrofits be carried out in urban environments?
  • How can we bridge gaps between accessibility and sustainability for people with special needs?
  • Is it possible to design with inclusivity and public health in mind in Calgary’s novel realities?
